Account information

When you create a host account we collect your name, email address, and a hashed password. We do not store your plain-text password at any point.

Game session data

We store the events you create (game type, questions, settings) and aggregate session statistics (player counts, scores). Player nicknames entered during a game session are stored temporarily and purged when the session ends.

Usage data

We automatically collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) to monitor platform health and debug issues. These logs are retained for 90 days.

To operate the platform

Providing, maintaining, and improving the Naukhel service, authenticating your account, and sending transactional emails (email verification, password reset).

To communicate with you

Sending product updates, feature announcements, and support responses. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

To ensure security

Detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access to accounts.

We do not sell your data

Naukhel does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Service providers

We share data with trusted vendors who help us operate the platform: cloud infrastructure providers (hosting) and transactional email services. Each provider is bound by a data processing agreement.

Legal requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process (e.g. a court order).

Essential cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. This cookie is strictly necessary for the platform to function and cannot be disabled.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics (without cross-site tracking) to understand aggregate usage patterns. No third-party advertising cookies are used.

Account data

Retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Game session data

Player nicknames and in-game activity are purged when a session ends. Aggregate stats (score totals, player counts) are retained for your event history.

Access and portability

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you at any time.

Correction

You can update your name and email from your account settings.

Deletion

You can request account deletion by contacting us. We will remove your personal data within 30 days subject to legal retention obligations.

Objection and restriction

You may object to certain processing activities or ask us to restrict how we use your data.

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption in transit, hashed passwords at rest, and role-based access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your Naukhel account.

Naukhel's host platform is intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the platform. The date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last revised.
